About Shafin Chowdhury

Hi, I’m Shafin Chowdhury — a Software Developer and Computer Science & Engineering student at North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

This website is where I document what I learn, explain programming and computer-science concepts, and build a personal reference library that can also help other developers and students. When tackling difficult concepts—whether it’s understanding how pointers interact with heap memory in C++, analyzing Big-O trade-offs of Python collections, or proving mathematical formulas—writing clear, structured guides helps me solidify my own understanding while creating an accessible resource for others.

What I Do

What I Write About

My articles and technical guides center on the core foundations of software development:

Why This Website Exists

When I started diving deeper into computer science, I noticed that tutorials are frequently either too superficial to be useful or overly pedantic to be readable.

I built this site to bridge that gap. Every guide here is written from a practitioner and student perspective: starting with the fundamental “why,” illustrating concepts with diagrams and minimal complete examples, analyzing the memory and complexity implications, and demonstrating production-ready implementations.
